I grew up in a town that demolished all of its history for new, improved buildings and now the residents of that town have no link to their past. As a result, the town has lost its sense of community. I certainly don't want that to happen to Burlington. As a resident of Burlington, I think that greatly benefits the community to take pride in its past and right now that means restoring Grandview Farm. I would be willing to make a multi-year pledge for the restoration project, as one person already suggested.
