People of Burlington ask, "What's happening with the Grandview Farm?" The answer today is "Quite a lot." But much of it is not to the liking of those who love Burlington History.

On September 10th 2007, a discussion session was held during the Selectman’s meeting, concerning Grandview Farm.

During that meeting, a report from the Grandview Committee was presented, along with a response from the Historical Commission.

In short, the Grandview Committee feels it is not possible to restore the Grandview Farm for the reasons listed in their report. They propose to raze and replicate the structure.

The Historical Commission, in agreement with the Historical Society, believes it is not possible to replicate our Heritage, that alternatives must be found so that this project can be completed.

Why is The Marion Tavern/Grandview Farm so important to Burlingtons history?
